Trak Global Group, a global provider of insurance telematics services, has signed a deal with insurance software house CDL that will see it integrate with CDL’s telematics hub.

The new partnership will enable insurance retailers using the CDL Strata solution to offer telematics based insurance products powered by Trak Global.

Integration with the CDL hub means that the sale and administration of telematics policies can be easily switched on and customers' premiums are adjusted automatically, based on information received from telematics devices such as black boxes or smartphone apps.

Trak Global has a strong footprint in the insurance sector, helping retailers reduce claims and improve the customer experience through telematics based products. It first launched telematics solutions for the insurance, fleet, rental and automotive industries in 2009 and now delivers telematics, insurance services and an innovation hub that focuses on research and development activities.

Similarly, CDL provides telematics solutions for a range of major brands, such as The Co-operative, iGO4 Wise Driving, Ingenie and Sheilas' Wheels Broker Model Driver.
