Proteus accreditation
AWS Financial Services Competency
Insurtech CDL has achieved AWS Financial Services ISV Competency status, having been certified for demonstrating the highest level of specialisation, technical expertise and proven customer success for the Proteus insurer hosted pricing (IHP) solution.
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) validated qualification was granted following a rigorous appraisal process, for which CDL was able to demonstrate the relevant technical proficiency by delivering solutions seamlessly on AWS, as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member.
Most notably, CDL was able to showcase numerous customer success stories, including Covéa Insurance, LV= Broker and Integra Insurance, where Proteus was used at scale to deliver the speed, resilience and security needed for high volume transactions to serve millions of policyholders throughout the UK.
Commenting on the landmark accomplishment, Robert Trueman, Head of Software Engineering at CDL, said: "We're proud to achieve the AWS Financial Services Competency. This provides customers in the financial services sector important reassurance about the calibre of CDL's technical and business expertise in supporting them to deploy cloud-based data, analytics and retail platforms for the high volume insurance sector."
AWS Financial Services Competency Partners, now including CDL, provide cloud-based solutions that help accelerate innovation for insurers, banks, capital market firms and payment processors. CDL's Proteus enables insurers to achieve strategic, mass market distribution of products, with the ability to optimise pricing in real-time and at pace, in order to respond dynamically to market developments.
The news comes after CDL achieved the Amazon RDS Ready Designation for the CDL Strata insurance retail platform, signifying successful integration with Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) to ensure high availability and performance for business-critical policy administration processes. AWS also awarded CDL an APN Certification Distinction for achieving 100 AWS qualifications, double the number of accreditations it had held 12 months earlier.
