CDL has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK for a ninth consecutive year, retaining the prestigious Top Employers certification.The accreditation recognises organisations with progressive people practices, from approaches to acquiring new talent to opportunities for development and progression, as well as strong values and vision, a commitment to employee wellbeing and social responsibility.
The company offers a range of employee benefits, including an employee discount and recognition scheme a medical cash plan, electrical vehicle salary sacrifice, social events and fundraising and volunteering opportunities, including for its charity of the year, the Seashell Trust, supports children and young adults with complex learning difficulties and disabilities.
The news comes after a year in which CDL reaffirmed its status as one of the UK's leading insurance technology service providers, retaining a position in the BusinessCloud's InsurTech 50 ranking and continuing to invest in research and development to shape the future of insurance. A key focus has been on leveraging artificial intelligence to drive the next generation of insurance propositions.
It also saw continued migration of brands to CDL's Strata ecosystem, with AA Insurance completing the migration of circa two million policies to the retail platform and Wesleyan Insurance Services embarking on a five-year roadmap. Meanwhile, there was ongoing uptake of CDL's insurer hosted rating platform, Proteus, with Covéa amongst those implementing the solution to enable more sophisticated pricing for its home insurance products.

The Top Employers Institute is the global authority on recognising excellence in people practices and undertakes international research each year to identify leading employers around the world.
Organisations are certified based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey, which covers six HR domains consisting of 20 criteria, including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity & inclusion, wellbeing and more. All survey responses are subject to an independent external audit to ensure the validity of the certification process.
