Strata on AWS

Multi-region, global deployment: CDL solutions are built to take advantage of the AWS global infrastructure footprint, which is the largest of any provider and continuously growing. When deploying CDL products to the cloud, there is the flexibility of selecting a technology infrastructure that is closest to the customer's primary target of users. The resilience capabilities allow CDL to architect solutions to provide a greater degree of fault tolerance.

AWS Region Support: CDL is able to deploy Strata to any AWS region that has the required AWS services. This allows customers flexibility around meeting data governance and sovereignty requirements.

Amazon RDS Support: CDL uses Amazon RDS as the database service for Strata as it gives engineers more time to focus on the things that matter to customers: improving the data marts, adding better indexing and performance tuning SQL, rather than installing, patching and backing up a fleet of databases.

CDL also utilises RDS features such as database snapshots, enhanced monitoring, performance insights and tight integration with IAM.

Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS): CDL Strata consists of a number of services. Each service is built with scalability as one of our core pillars and AWS Global Infrastructure enables companies to be extremely flexible and take advantage of the conceptually infinite scalability of the cloud.

This means that CDL no longer needs to over-provision physical kit in order to ensure capacity to handle business operations at the peak level of activity. Instead, CDL solutions can instantly scale up with the needs of our customers.
